Through our Family Life Ministry, we seek to equip families with the tools necessary to develop healthy relationships with Jesus as both the model and basis for life in the home. Our goal is to see marriages and families thrive with Jesus at the center.
We are available on a regular basis for couples or individuals who want to come in and talk to about any range of ideas or concerns having to do with marriage. We want good marriages to get even better, and difficult marriages to find resources that help each couple manage issues and trouble-shoot effectively. To this end, we make multiple resources available to address any and all relational concerns and also to tap the power and growth of ministering together - in small, medium, and large ways.
As with our marriage resources, we make as many up-to-date and applicable parenting resources available for our parents of young children as possible. We are available for counseling for parents and children, and we also have our connection with Agape Counseling for more in-depth coverage as needed.
Learn what is happening in our Children's Church, Preschool, VBS and Teen Programs. We strongly believe that what a child learns at home is more important than what a child learns at church. Our programs are designed to encourage, equip and supplement what parents teach their kids spiritually at home. We want to be right there beside parents, from the infancy of their children to adulthood, supporting all they are doing to raise kids with a strong and meaningful faith. God is all about discovery, wonder and passion - and we want your kids (and you!) to experience it, first-hand!
Risen Christ has many fun activities designed for families happening throughout the year. Some of our annual events include September School Year Kick Off, Breakfast With Santa, Family Fun Activities, and Egg Hunt/Journey to the Cross. You may also catch us filling shoeboxes for children around the world, creating projects or filling lunch bags to deliver to others, holding a game day or hosting a carnival, or attending local events of interest together.
