Dear Risen Christ Family,
After hearing from the congregation through email and during our council meeting discussions on Monday night we are looking to move forward as a congregation both with the confidence of faith in Jesus Christ and out of love for our brothers and sisters in the Church.
Therefore we would like to move forward with the current CDC guidelines regarding mask-wearing for vaccinated and non-vaccinated people. For the mean time we ask that we all continue to wear masks while singing, during communion, and while walking about the sanctuary and building. While seated and during the speaking parts (sermon, readings, prayers, etc…) please feel at your leisure to remove your masks.
1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 reads: "For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him. Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing."
It is our hope that as we continue in this fight against COVID we would each embrace one another as brothers and sisters of Christ who may be at different levels of comfort in regard to mask-wearing. As we move forward our hope in Christ remains certain and true, and out of love for everyone who worships here we would like to take this progression one step at a time.
For more information on CDC guidelines please follow this link: https://www.cdc.gov
If you have any questions, thoughts, or concerns please let us know.
We continue to hope and pray that God will deliver us from this time of pandemic, while also resting assured that our true healing will come at the end when our Lord brings us to our heavenly home.
Pr. Steven Braun

Great care is being taken with the above resources and precautions, so that we are able to gather as a congregation. At the same time, your individual thoughts and personal position on health and safety are respected. We honor your decision if it is to not return to in-person worship at this time.
Online services will continue to be offered. We are sensitive to the concerns of families regarding online streaming, therefore, congregational members outside of officiants, assistants, and the praise band will not be included within camera framing.
I Corinthians 12:25b-27 states “All of them will take care of one another. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it. If one part is honored, every part shares in its joy. 27 You are the body of Christ. Each one of you is a part of it.”
Whether we are together in person, or in our separate homes worshiping together online, we are the body of Christ, working together to bring Him glory.
